- Work performed in Billings, Montana and surrounding area
- Work on-call, as needed or by the gig, with options for part-time/full-time work based on job skills
- $18-21/hour DOE, plus proportionate gratuity share
- Preparation and cooking of menu items
- Utilization of food products and leftovers (quality control)
- Supervise employees when designated shift leader
- Complete all sanitation duties assigned by unit leader
- Equipment upkeep and minor repairs and maintenance
- Able to maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness
- Physically able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, and squat for long periods at a time
- Physically able to lift items weighing 25 pounds or more
- Knowledge of catering procedures, including storage, sanitation and safety
- Knowledge of table service techniques and the ability to apply them
- Able to work with catering equipment effectively and teach others to use it also
- Able to give attention to detail and utilize timing and execution skills
- Punctual and dependable with proven ability to work effectively with others in a team
- Perform other job-related duties assigned by unit supervisor
- Required: Food handlers card, Servsafe Managers Certificate or equivalent, valid driver’s license

- Responsible for various tasks during events including table setting, serving, floor service, buffet service, bussing and other duties related to special event foodservice
- Able to maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness
- Able to work with catering equipment effectively and teach others to use it also
- Able to follow standard production procedures when carrying out duties, such as beverage service, plating and salad preparation
- Knowledge of catering procedures, including storage, sanitation and safety
- Knowledge of table service techniques and applying them
- Able to give attention to detail to create exciting ambiance for buffet and table service
- Punctual and dependable with proven ability to work effectively with others in a team
- Physically able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, and squat for long periods at a time
- Physically able to regularly lift items weighing 50 pounds or more
- Able to operate catering vehicles as needed
- Required: Valid driver’s license
- Work performed in wildland fire and emergency incident camps across the Western United States as part of a temporary camp to feed firefighters and support personnel for the duration of the fire/incident
- $20/hour base pay, with possibility for higher DOE (+ overtime pay 1.5x the base rate)
- $5.09/hour health and welfare stipend added on during the first 40 hours of work week
- Seasonal: June to approximately October 1
- Hiring cooks, food preparation personnel, general labor personnel and drivers
- CDL truck drivers (Class A or B) who can double as cooks or general laborers encouraged to apply
- Must be prepared to work 8 to 16-hour shifts per day, up to seven days per week while kitchen is under dispatch, and physically able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, squat, etc.
- Must be prepared to spend long hours on your feet, load and unload supplies, wash kitchenware, clean equipment, prepare and serve food, and assemble sack lunches
- Must be prepared to live in campout conditions while on fire operations
- Sick leave, paid holidays and vacation pay after one year of service
- Cash bonus to qualified employees who complete the season
- Meals provided for duration of camp
- Required: Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad or cot
- Preferred: Valid driver's license
